There is increasing interest in migrating to a carbon-neutral power system that relies on renewable energy due concerns about greenhouse gas emissions, shortages, and global warming. However, the share of has added volatility uncertainty operations. Introducing new devices using flexible resources may help solve problem, but expanding domain problem can be another solution. Sector coupling, which integrates production, consumption, conversion, storage by connecting various domains, could potentially meet needs each sector. It also reduce generation surplus unnecessary carbon emissions. As result, sector an integrated system, increases acceptance traditional makes it neutral. difficulties large-scale integration, low conversion efficiency economic feasibility remain obstacles.
